An ancient broken spiral technique has been re-introduced by Zafferano in designing Perle, a collection for the table in clear coloured glass. It includes tumblers for water and soft drinks, wine glasses, flute glasses and cocktail glasses, bright and colourful carafes, large and small bowls, all objects created to enhance the colour scheme of the table decoration. This collection is one of the most successful and well-known lines of products designed by Federico de Majo. With Perle effects of extraordinary charm are achieved thanks to a mixture of transparencies and glass paste, obtained by combining unique materials and a special workmanship performed entirely by hand and expertly interpreted by the touch of skilled glassmakers.
